Our Story — How Tychr Began
Tychr was born from a simple frustration: IB students were struggling not because they didn’t know the content, but because they couldn’t find tutors who truly understood the IB system — the IAs, the marking criteria, the way examiners think.
Our founders, IB alumni themselves, set out to fix that. They recruited active IB examiners and subject specialists who had both academic depth and the ability to teach.
Today, Tychr has helped students across 70+ countries, helping students in Singapore, Mumbai, New York, London, Dubai, and beyond, reach scores they’d once thought impossible.
Built from actual experience, not theory.
We didn’t build Tychr from the outside looking in. It was built by people who went through the same system, understood the same pressure, and knew students needed something far better than generic tutoring.
